The first mountain bike route “VeloErul” is located in the municipality of Trun. Without a doubt, the area is a wonderful destination to visit and cycle. The route gives us the opportunity to touch the magic of one of the most charming corners in Bulgaria. It is something fresh, new, full of great views. Most of the route is suitable for all types of cyclists, including inexperienced cyclists who enjoy riding in nature. There is also a section that includes descents for the more experienced bikers. In addition to villages and beautiful mountain views, along the route (and short stopovers) there are several monasteries, two interesting museums and even two organic farms, where you can see live how organic vegetables, honey, cheese and yellow cheese are produced, and to try them. Then you continue past remarkable peaks, from where you can see views of the mountains from half of Bulgaria and half of Serbia.
