The Pantelei fair is traditionally held in Niš, in the courtyard of the church of Saint Panteleimon. The fair is held on August 8 and 9, on the day of the great church holiday of Saint Panteleimon, the great martyr, who has always been celebrated as the patron saint of this part of Nis.
The original purpose of the fair used to be to enable the people of Niš to buy necessary things, at a time when stores as we know them today did not exist. However, today at the fair, above all, various amusement machines are present, and it resembles an amusement park. In addition, at the fair you can eat cotton candy, popcorn, donuts as well as traditionally prepared dishes that are prepared at the fair itself.
The Pantelei Fair is an event that we should visit. We will have fun with friends, create memories and it will remain in our memory as a unique experience.
