The Festival of Acting Achievements in Domestic Feature Film in Niš is an annual film festival held in the Niš Fortress. It focuses on the promotion and presentation of works by independent filmmakers from Serbia and other countries in the region.
The festival was founded in 1966 and has become one of the most significant cultural events in Niš and Serbia throughout its existence. “Filmski Susreti” take place in various venues throughout Niš, including the National Theatre, Niš Cultural Center, and the Niš Fortress. The festival usually occurs at the end of August and attracts thousands of visitors annually.
