Sapareva Banya is a famous balneological center and is proud of the only geyser-fountain in Bulgaria and Europe. Water erupts from the bowels of the earth at a temperature of 103 °C! The fountain is located in a small park in the center, where a concrete structure is built to give it an aesthetic appearance. The smell of sulfur around the fountain is a sure sign that the water here is very healing. If you want to learn more, you can go to the nearby TIC where you will be offered information about the local events or other interesting sites.
