No one is quite sure what it is. It is thought to be a solar calendar or an observatory, but whatever it is, it was an important part of the lives of ancient people who used it 3000 years ago.
It is located about 10 kilometers from the town of Breznik, in the vicinity of Garlo. Finding it is an adventure for enthusiasts, but it’s worth it for the incredible views and the rare building.
The well itself is located at a depth of 15 meters and while going down with each step, you can feel like returning to the past. It gradually descends from the surface into a dome-shaped hall under which there a well. The well-temple is believed to have been built by ancient Sumerian craftsmen.
